[Regulatory Sandbox] Consulting interim review for supporting activation of shipbuilding and marine regulatory sandbox

Law firm Veat (representative lawyer Choi Sung-ho) completed a mid-term checkup for the ‘2019 Ulsan Shipbuilding & Marine SW Convergence Cluster Project’ related ‘2019 Ulsan Shipbuilding & Marine Regulatory Sandbox Activation Support Project’ consulting, which was held at the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Ulsan Regional Headquarters on November 19, 2019.
The above mid-term checkup was conducted in a sequence of reporting the progress of the business models, products, and services of the participating companies in the support project, and discussing the status of the regulatory sandbox application promotion by Law firm Veat.
Song Do-young, partner lawyer (39th generation) in charge of this project, stated, "This project was promoted to revitalize the shipbuilding & marine industry and activate the local economy through regulatory innovation, and numerous local companies related to the shipbuilding & marine sector applied for consulting," and particularly that Law firm Veat has experience operating an ‘ICT Regulatory Sandbox Consultation Center’ and experience providing advice on industry convergence regulatory sandboxes, and “is setting appropriate regulatory sandbox promotion directions according to each business model, and is helping to draft swift processing and demonstration special exemption application forms through corporate consulting.”
