From September 15th-16th, a ‘4th Industrial Revolution Festival 2022 of the Republic of Korea’ was held at the Coex in Seoul, and Law Firm Veat’s One-Stop Consultation Booth for ICT Regulatory Sandbox provided direct consultations to companies requesting regulatory sandbox support. Veat’s Partner Attorney Baek Seung-cheol and Partner Attorney Songdo-yeong were involved.
Veat’s Partner Attorney Songdo-yeong, as the Head of the Regulatory Sandbox Team, followed up the successful completion of the ICT Regulatory Improvement Consulting Project and is currently performing consulting services related to regulatory sandbox/legislation consulting. Notably, Partner Attorney Songdo-yeong received the ‘Information and Communications Technology Day Commemorative Government Award’ in 2020 for contributing to the growth of startups through the establishment and expansion of the regulatory sandbox system.
Veat’s Partner Attorney Baek Seung-cheol is recognized as a “IT Specialist Attorney” after passing through the stringent review of the Korean Bar Association’s Specialized Field Review Committee and is currently performing numerous regulatory sandbox legal consulting projects as the PM for the Information and Communications Technology Promotion Agency’s 2019 ICT Convergence Regulatory Improvement Consulting Project and the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology’s 2020 Industrial Convergence Sandbox Legal Consulting Service Project PM.
